Dear All,
I’m very excited about this website today that I have finally sorted out the website structure changes and made this blog theme same as the website design. I have done some changes on Twitter and hope to make a custom Myspace theme as well.
And an added feature ‘Shop‘ for the first time since 2000 when I had this website online first. This website has always been the window for me to learn so much through out my life. Testing platform for all experiments I do with almost all programming languages. I’m happy that website is still listed as first in Google for the keyword ‘music composer dubai’. Hope to get a better page ranking on Google in few months.
Change Log.
- The structure of the website changed from a ‘/module/personAli.php’ to ‘/bio’ and blog url changed from http://blog.ifthi.com to http://ifthi.com/blog (please update your bookmarks)
- More social network friendly website with active Twitter and Facebook updates.
- The content and images are same. But expected to change in 2-3 weeks time. (Hopefully)
- Online Shop – Now testing (But fully functional). I’ll be adding more songs and exclusive wrks in future.
- New theme for WordPress Blog. It is actually customized version of default WP theme.
- Fresh header tags and new footer.
- I couldn’t implement the mp3 player I used to have in the old website. Expect it in the music page soon.
What’s Next? (Some self questions answered)
I have been thinking a lot about adding additional features to the website. So let’s check some possibilities.
- Image Gallery – I don’t share much photos in public. Most of them are in my personal Facebook profile. Later when I have press releases and events, for sure
- Events Calendar – Naa, I’m not a performing artist and I don’t want to share my credit card due date on my website either
- Pricelist of Request a quote for music project – Every project is different, say hello, we will discuss. I guess that’s better!
- Video Gallery – I do have an official YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/ifthiTV so I thought not to burn my brains with YouTube API. I requested for a partnership program with YouTube and they said only for UK and US
- I’m still thinking! I’ll update you here if I come up with any ideas. Do post in your suggestions.
